Shadows Of Spring Poem

By lyricsoftwo.com
“Shadows Of Spring” Photo & Poem by Marie Helen A.

Within nature all is well. Spring is in full force, robust and blooming. Sparing a moment of time in nature’s midst to listen to the birds, feel the breezes and bring back warm memories of sun filled days, can be so relaxing.

Pictured, a moment captured in nature, as the sun rises, and casts its bright beams on the newly blossomed growths. A scene that inspired the birth of a poem in honor of this magical sight and spring’s rejuvenation. Hope you enjoy “Shadows Of Spring” by Marie Helen A. to start this beautiful spring day!

Shadows Of Spring

Shadowy, lucent sunrise,

a whispered morning, through the sun’s hazy eyes.

Dusty, wild blossoms diffuse,

beneath striking rays, yellow petals suffuse.

Abstract murmurs sound aloud,

pigeons cooing to a misty morning cloud.

Enlivened roots spread, sweeping,

vernal freshness seeps in, quietly creeping.

Whimsical, earthy scents waft,

perfumed notes arise, filled with warmth, damply soft.

Paths gilded, with seeds sowed;

sun rays on verdant tendrils glow, a mapped road.

Burgeoning, greens abound strong,

the symphony of nature, tunes its spring song.

Playful currents gust astray;

breezes swirl through limbs, tones of wood winds at play.

Flourishing growths slow revive;

Awaken, new beginnings free, and alive.
