As the winds have been gusting quite strongly here in Los Angeles these couple of days, it makes one pay closer attention to the particulars of the seasonal changes. The trees, leaves, branches, newly blossomed flowers, plants, and the animals that live within theses conditions. There are beautiful finds scattered throughout. Just as you ponder about these things, you might even stumble upon a sparrow perched thoughtfully on a branch, in quiet thought. Perhaps musing over the weather and how quickly it changes, and thinking similar thoughts as yourself, of how beautiful and remarkable nature can be. Marie Helen noticed the aforementioned bird, as she often notices the smaller things in nature, and has written a haiku in honor of this beautiful bird in deep thought. So, let’s begin the day with some poetry, and with β€œMuseful Sparrow” by Marie Helen.
